Valve boss predicts “one console world” created by Apple

Gamers’ dream of a “one console to rule them all” reality is entirely feasible in the mind of Valve’s boss, Gabe Newell. He foresees Apple, with their huge cash reserves and market power to begin to make great strides in game development and TV home entertainment over the next few years.

Ninja Gaiden III will be one of Wii U’s major third party games when it releases late next year. It will also be on Xbox 360 and PS3 but Tecmo plans to take full advantage of Wii U’s additional hardware power and unique controller and offer an enhance experience over Nintendo’s competitors.

Humor Fridays: First pic of PS4 controller

Sony quietly showed off a never-before-seen pic of a prototype Playstation 4 controller this week. The company was quick to add that the design wasn’t yet final and may still see more changes as the PS4 launch nears. They cited the infamous “PS3 boomerang controller” as the reason the design isn’t set in stone yet. They asked their legion of fans to weigh in on the proposed design. What do you think?

Unreal Engine 4 targeted for 2014

There is a lot of speculation on when the next generation of Xbox and Playstation will be released. Generally, it coincides with the next generation of Epic’s Unreal Engine, as many games are built off its assets. CEO of Epic Games has 2014 pegged as Unreal Engine 4’s its target year.

Wii U Skyrim "A Possibility"

Bethesda’s next game, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, could find its way to Nintendo’s new console in 2012. Bethesda’s VP of PR and Marketing told the UK Official Nintendo Magazine that such a port would be a “possibility.”
